Detailed explanation
Two middle-aged brothers live in an old one-story house. After retiring, the older brother lives a drab, manly life, without any women around, while taking care of his sick younger brother using his pension and savings. One day, the younger brother forgets where his house is and is unable to return home, but is helped home safely by "Konatsu," who lives nearby. The older brother gives "Konatsu" sweets as she bravely tells him the story, and the two gradually become closer.
