Detailed explanation
The legend that five warriors, the Legenders, would be awakened by the goddess Gaia when the monstrous creature Manon, an enemy of humanity, was resurrected was true. However, only Minami Kasaki, a teacher at a girls' high school, awakened as a Legender. Minami's student, Mei Takashiro, witnesses Minami's battle with Manon and, disregarding her own safety, tries to help her beloved Minami. Her courage is recognized, and she becomes the second Legender. Mei is overjoyed at the prospect of fighting alongside Minami. However, Minami doesn't want to involve Mei in the battle and refuses to fight alongside her. To gain Minami's approval, Mei fights Manon alone but is defeated and captured. Upon learning this, Minami, despite her own injuries, sets out to rescue her…
